- Our Strategic Economic Plan (SEP)
A refreshed version of our Strategic Economic Plan for Oxfordshire (otherwise known as the SEP) was launched in 2016.
The aim of the SEP was for it to be a widely-owned 'economic route map' for the county – embraced by all stakeholders – focused on supporting the economic performance of Oxfordshire.
The SEP helped to identify potential opportunities and prospects of Oxfordshire – whether local, regional, national or international – and managed the county’s strong economic growth to ensure sustainability and inclusivity.
It also acknowledged the changing context for Oxfordshire’s economic well-being and responded to substantial engagement from the county’s businesses, universities, research institutions, local authorities, voluntary and community sectors and many of our residents too.
Creative, Cultural, Heritage and Tourism Investment Plan (CCHTIP)
The Creative, Cultural, Heritage and Tourism Investment Plan (CCHTIP) was one of a series of investment plans that sat under the Strategic Economic Plan (SEP) and helps us to deliver our ambitions for economic growth in Oxfordshire up to 2030.
Working in partnership with Oxfordshire County Council and Arts Council England, the CCHTIP made a compelling case for investment in our visitor economy.
The priorities of the CCHTIP were:
- Productive and engaging experiences
- Skills, talent development and business growth
- Creative place-making
