Recently, the Chancellor of the Exchequer outlined further details on how the government support for businesses would operate during the easing of lockdown measures - this includes the Government announcing the closure of the Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme from 1 July, to those not previously furloughed on, or before, 10 June.
With this mind, any employer who has not already done so – but wishes to place an employee on the scheme – must do so by this Wednesday (10 June).
Therefore, we encourage Oxfordshire businesses able to take advantage of the scheme – who haven’t already done so – to find out more information as quickly as possible.
