On Wednesday 4 September, we will be holding our 2019 Annual Review Event at the Blavatnik School of Government, in Oxford.
The event will not only see the launch of this year's annual report, but we will also be launching the Oxfordshire Local Industrial Strategy - alongside our key partners - to senior business leaders from across the county.
In our latest vlog, Communications Manager Rob Panting takes us through the key details of the event and the many themes the strategy launch will explore.
A business-led framework, our Local Industrial Strategy details how we can realise our full-potential, raising productivity and ensuring the commercialisation of our unique innovation assets, thus positioning Oxfordshire as one of the top-three global innovation ecosystems.
The strategy highlights Oxfordshire's key assets, including our world-leading science and technology cluster, providing an ambitious long-term vision for economic growth between now and 2040.
The strategy illustrates how the key sectors and technologies that Oxfordshire excels in have global reach, making the county a critical driver for UK economic growth post-Brexit, with a vision to ensure the benefits of a global innovation ecosystem reach all Oxfordshire communities.
Whilst the event is currently at capacity, we will also be live streaming the event - updates to follow in due course.
