The Coronavirus pandemic has had unprecedented effects on businesses across Oxfordshire and whilst our business community has remained strong and resilient at this time, has posed huge challenges, with one of the most important being how businesses can access the support they need to survive.
This Thursday (30 April) sees the first in our series of digital Q&A events become available, where our panel of business leaders will be focusing on: ‘Supporting businesses through the COVID-19 pandemic’.
Our panel, chaired by former radio presenter Howard Bentham, is set to include:
• Cllr Barry Wood – Leader, Cherwell District Council and OxLEP Board member
• Wendy Hart – Partner, Grant Thornton and OxLEP Board member
• Ashley Keen – Local Director, Metro Bank
• Isabel Bishop – Partner, Knights PLC
This Q&A is just one of the ways we are looking to support our businesses through this uncertain time and is a vital opportunity to get answers to your questions surrounding: accessing the Government Coronavirus business support schemes, rate relief grants administered by the county’s local authorities and potential measures you can put in-place to help your business become more resilient. To ensure your question is asked, use the hashtag #OxLEPQandA,
The first recording will be available on our YouTube channel from midday on Thursday 30 April.
