UK Property Forums ready to host second-ever Oxfordshire Property Festival, backed by OxLEP
Dozens of property professionals and key decision makers will later this week (11 April) gather for Oxfordshire’s only property and real estate festival.
The Oxfordshire Property Festival 2019 is taking place for a second-year running and will incorporate walks, talks, awards and music as part of the event.
It follows a successful 2018 festival that saw property professionals from across the UK gather in the county.
UK Property Forums – one of the country’s best-established property sector experts – will once again lead the festival, with the support of the Oxfordshire Local Enterprise Partnership (OxLEP).
This week’s event will centre around two of Oxfordshire’s best-known locations – Keble College and Bicester Village – and will see festival attendees focus on the changing landscape of the Oxfordshire property scene, with key representatives attending from across the sector.
All talks will feature a panel of carefully-selected representatives, each with key roles within the Oxfordshire economy or property sector.
Topics set to be discussed include the emerging Oxford-Cambridge Arc, ‘place-making’ in Oxfordshire and the county’s world-renowned automotive sector.
The festival’s property ‘walks’ will follow two routes – one across Oxford city centre and a second in the north of the county, focussing on Bicester Village and Bicester Heritage.
An awards ceremony will also commend the best talent working across the industry.
Matthew Battle – Managing Director at UK Property Forums – said: “The Oxfordshire Property Festival is a great opportunity to recognise a diverse range of highly-impressive projects from across the Oxfordshire property market.
“The relationship between the land, growth and design is fascinating – and in many respects, Oxfordshire is at the forefront of this national debate.
“Last year, we were really excited to have created an event which brought together all parts of the property community together under one umbrella – we hope to do the same again this year.”
Nigel Tipple – Chief Executive of OxLEP – added: “We are delighted to be partnering with UK Property Forums once again to showcase the world-class investment opportunities that exist across Oxfordshire and celebrate property success within the county at the same time.
“Our economy is undoubtedly a strong and adaptable one. We have an excellent record of supporting small businesses and are globally recognised as a place that can support innovation-led growth, greater productivity and major ‘place potential’ as we move towards an ever-increasing internationally-focussed economy.
“It is important to have a supply of quality employment and office space to support our growing business base within the county – this festival will help to recognise why property is so important to the economy, both locally and nationally.”
