Survey results will help OxLEP to meet the needs of a growing Oxfordshire business community
OxLEP – the Local Enterprise Partnership for Oxfordshire – is asking company directors in the county to participate in significant online research, helping them to further understand the county’s business community.
Findings from the research will help OxLEP tailor its information and support for businesses, as well as further backing its overall vision for Oxfordshire as a 'vibrant, world-leading economy'.
Launched in 2011, OxLEP is one of 38 LEPs operating across England and is responsible for championing the county’s economy. Its online questionnaire explores awareness of LEPs and directors’ level of engagement with OxLEP.
It will also quiz company directors and business leaders in respect of OxLEP’s four key priorities for driving the Oxfordshire economy – namely; people, place, enterprise and connectivity.
Nigel Tipple – Chief Executive of OxLEP – said: “Our recently-updated Strategic Economic Plan makes it clear that despite early successes, we have a great deal of work still to do if we are to achieve our vision for Oxfordshire.
“We are already halfway to our target of supporting the generation of 85,600 jobs in the county by 2031 – however, it is still critical to ensure that all parts of the Oxfordshire economy gain access to our support and – by capturing the views of our business leaders – we can learn how best to support our dynamic business community”.
You can take part in the survey via Survey Monkey. It will remain open until Friday 8 September and takes around 10 minutes to complete.
