We again reflect on some of the incredible impacts and legacy that investment secured in recent years by OxLEP has had on the Oxfordshire economy.
Completed in 2021, the Science Vale Cycle Network Improvements project has seen a major uplift in the standard of pedestrian and cycle routes across the south of Oxfordshire, better linking science and business parks, towns and railway stations.
The project also has sustainability at its heart, with the introduction of a variety of measures and safety features, plus an approach to construction that saved over 10 tonnes of Co2.
OxLEP secured £5.1 million-worth of investment for the project via the Government's Local Growth Fund.
