At 12noon today (7 May), you will be able to watch the latest in our series of digital Q&As – ‘How can Oxfordshire’s world-class visitor economy recover from the Coronavirus pandemic?’.
In this Q&A, we review Experience Oxfordshire’s recent impact report, analysing the immediate effect of COVID-19 on the county's visitor economy.
The visitor economy is worth around £2.3bn to the county – that’s 10% of our yearly GVA – and supports around 40,000 jobs across many different attractions.
Head to our YouTube channel at 12noon today to listen to the discussion – our panel includes, Hayley Beer Gamage of Experience Oxfordshire, Tagore Ramoutar of TOAD and Hedley Swain from Arts Council England.
Also, find out more on our eScalate programme – a programme that has the ability to support some of our creative and cultural companies at this critical time.
