With only five days to go until OxLEP's third quarterly Q&A event, Communications Manager Rob Panting outlines some of the key topics that the session is likely to cover. The debate will be centred around the following question: 'How can Oxfordshire businesses make an impact – nationally and internationally – by embracing innovation?'.
The breakfast Q&A event, featuring a panel of key figures from within Oxfordshire's business landscape, will run from 8am to 10am on Tuesday 10 July. It is being held at the Kassam Stadium Conference and Events Centre.
Following the session, the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS) will also be holding a ‘Voice your views to government’ session for SMEs around the county.
This is a chance for businesses in the area to discuss with BEIS representatives some of the key topics that affect small businesses today, including: business support options available, how productivity can be improved, Brexit, and how local issues are affecting business performance.
The session is open to Oxfordshire-based small businesses attending the Q&A event and will run from approximately 10.15am to 12.15pm.
There is a maximum of 15 spaces available for this BEIS session which will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Participants must be signed-up prior to the event and we will confirm your attendance in advance.
Please note: You need to sign-up to the main Q&A event to take part in the BEIS session. Interest for the BEIS session must be registered by 12noon on Friday 6 July.
To register your interest for the BEIS session, or if you have any queries on the discussion, email Rob Panting – Communications Manager at OxLEP – via: [email protected].
