Next week (Tuesday 2nd - Thursday 4th June) sees Business in Oxford (BIO) 2020 Live take place and, in-light of COVID-19, organisers B4 have moved the popular annual event to an online platform.
Now more than ever, events like BIO2020 Live are hugely important for our small business community, bringing people together to discuss common issues brought about by the global pandemic.
COVID-19 is disrupting every business of every size and this will continue for months and, perhaps, even years to come. We are determined to play our role in ensuring that the county’s businesses are able to run as efficiently as possible and remain productive.
As the Local Enterprise Partnership for Oxfordshire, BIO2020 Live gives us the opportunity to highlight some of the critical support we can provide businesses and young people.
We will be running a comprehensive package of sessions including ones on our Skills 4 Business programme, the newly-launched COVID-19 Business Resilience Fund and a discussion on the economic outlook for Oxford's recovery from the COVID-19 with our Board Chair, Jeremy Long.
We hope to speak to as many businesses as possible and encourage B4 members to contact us across the three days.
