On Tuesday 20 November, the Cherwell Business Awards 2019 officially opened for nominations at a launch event at Norbar Torque in Banbury.
The awards cover a range of different categories, and are a vital reminder of why business, and in particular small business, is the backbone of Oxfordshire. This is supported by the fact that over 99% of the UK's 5.7million businesses are classified as 'small'.
Small Business Saturday will be taking place on Saturday 1 December, and is an incentive that sets out to recognise the importance of small businesses and the need to 'shop local'.
In our latest vlog, Communications Manager Rob Panting discusses why supporting small businesses and recognising their achievements is so important.
