As one of just three net county contributors to the UK economy – with a GVA of £23bn per year – coupled with 50,000 new jobs being created between 2012 and 2017, Oxfordshire’s economy continues to grow from strength-to-strength.
With the potential to drive forward a more ‘globally-facing’ UK economy post-Brexit, it’s never been more important for Oxfordshire businesses to have their say on the county’s future – particularly with regards to economic growth, housing, connectivity and infrastructure.
The Oxfordshire Growth Board is encouraging Oxfordshire businesses – whatever size or sector – to have their say on the Oxfordshire Plan 2050 public consultation, which was launched on 11 February.
With the aim of ensuring Oxfordshire remains a world-leader in technology and innovation, as well as having the ability to continue to create great jobs for our residents, whilst preserving our history and heritage, the Oxfordshire Plan 2050 requires input from all our businesses.
The consultation closes on 25 March.
