As we move into the new year, OxLEP is highlighting the launch of a new blueprint aimed at leveraging an inclusive economy for Oxfordshire.
Working with the Oxfordshire Inclusive Economy Partnership (OIEP), OxLEP encourages businesses from across the county to attend the launch of OIEP’s new charter, which aims to generate financial and community prosperity for Oxfordshire. The charter is also looking to create a strong talent pipeline for businesses in Oxfordshire, whilst increasing inclusivity.
The charter aligns-closely with the work of OxLEP's key roles. Several projects within the £1billion-worth of investment secured by OxLEP – alongside its many partner organisations – has supported greater inclusivity and enabled opportunities across a variety of communities in Oxfordshire, such as the ‘Meanwhile in Oxfordshire’ project,
OIEP brings together over 100 organisations – including employers, business, education, community groups and local government – who have a shared aim of reducing inequality and improving opportunities for people across Oxfordshire, whilst creating tangible benefits for businesses and communities
The Oxfordshire Inclusive Economy Charter launch event takes place on 24 January between 10am and 2pm at the Old Fire Station in Oxford.
