Following its February Cabinet meeting, we are delighted to announce that an agreement with Oxfordshire County Council has been reached, which ensures OxLEP Ltd continues to deliver economic development functions across Oxfordshire.
Through reaching this agreement, we are well-positioned to continue to deliver comprehensive business, skills, investment and trade support services to the county’s business community, as well as supporting a variety of plans that help to ensure Oxfordshire’s economic potential is delivered in a sustainable and inclusive way, benefitting businesses, communities and the environment.
We are confident our stakeholders and those businesses supported by OxLEP will see no disruption to our services.
With a track record of major delivery – which includes between October 2016 and March last year, working with over 6,200 businesses, providing around 18,000 hours of support and advice, worth over £28.75 million – we are extremely well-positioned to continue to provide advice, guidance, support and ambition, ensuring Oxfordshire businesses are resilient at this critical time.
Professor Alistair Fitt – Chair, OxLEP and Nigel Tipple – Chief Executive, OxLEP.
