The 2019 South and Vale Business Awards (SVBAs) are now open for entries from enterprising businesses from within the area. The prestigious awards programme, dedicated to recognising and rewarding business success across the districts, features a total of 8 awards. Categories are as follows:
- Large Business of the Year
- Employer of the Year
- Early Stage Innovation Award
- Established Innovation Award
- Social Responsibility Award
- Business Leader of the Year
- Business Space of the Year
- SME of the Year
The deadline for entries is midnight on 18 January 2019, with the winners to be revealed at a glittering ceremony, taking place at Williams F1 Conference Centre on 15 March 2019. All finalists will receive 2 complimentary tickets to attend the event, which include welcome drinks in Sir Frank Williams private museum, along with guest speakers, entertainment and fine dining.
In opening the awards, South Oxfordshire District Council‘s Cabinet Member for Development and Regeneration, Councillor Paul Harrison said “This is the first time businesses based in South Oxfordshire are able to nominate themselves and others for these prestigious awards. We look forward to championing & supporting our local organisations to help them grow and succeed.”
