BICESTER VISION EVENT: Enterprise in BIcester

Bicester Vision, OxLEP and Cherwell District Council are joining together to create an exciting business showcase event for Bicester businesses and residents. It will focus on skills, employment and the planned growth of Bicester.

Through presentations, exhibitions and interactive workshops, the event will aim to show attendees how the Bicester of tomorrow can create opportunities for employers and employees today. Our event will run in two parts:

Part 1: Business Engagement Briefing (2.30pm to 4.30pm)

Thought leadership section; focussing on business opportunities in the context of the future growth and development of Bicester, to include speakers and networking opportunities.

Hear from the following speakers:

• Adrian Lockwood, Chair of OxLEP Skills Board - The Importance of the Skills Agenda in Bicester
• Adrian Colwell, CDC Executive Director for Place and Growth - Bicester Growth Plans
• Highways England representative, on the chosen route for the East-West Expressway

Part 2: Skills Showcase, 5pm to 7pm

Aimed at residents of Cherwell; giving employers the opportunity to promote their sectors and showcase business through one or all of the following:

• Exhibition stand
• 5-minute business pitch
• Sector-based 'roundtable' discussion
