We are DELIVERING for Oxfordshire, one of the world's leading economies.

Like any organisation, delivering success for our key stakeholders and communities is the significant priority.

Our role as the Local Enterprise Partnership for the county has never been more important for our business community, amplying our successful economy to local, national and international audiences to ultimately secure greater levels of investment to deliver further success for Oxfordshire.

Over the past year, across all areas of our remit, we have delivered significant successes felt across all communities.

Here's an overview of some of the key projects and programmes we have delivered during 2019/20.

We have delivered numerous Q&A events across Oxfordshire, giving our business community a voice on key economic priorities.

Our government-funded programmes have delivered new jobs, new opportunities and new technologies to a variety of sectors and businesses.

Our close relationship with key, world-class sectors has enabled us to deliver significant funding, helping to quicken globally-significant projects.

We continue to deliver for our rural community, including securing funding for Abingdon and Witney College's new state-of-the-art Livestock Technology Centre.

Our Growth Hub has delivered a range of support initiatives to businesses of all sizes, helping them to celebrate amazing successes.

Our Skills team continued to deliver meaningful work experience opportunities for young people across all sectors.

53 Oxfordshire schools have engaged with our Skills team to-date.

29 businesses have been directly supported to create an apprenticeship scheme, with hundreds more inspired.

2,500 businesses have been supported to help address their skills needs, creating more agile workforces.

400 businesses have so far received at least 12 hours of direct support from our Growth Hub.

40 new products, across multiple sectors, have been brought to market through our support.

3,000 plus businesses are, or have, been actively supported via our Growth Hub.

Inspiring our young people through our world-class transformative technologies

February 2019: We brought GCSE and A-Level students from across Oxfordshire together to meet with some of the county’s most-prestigious business leaders – part of a 'transformative technologies’ tour aimed at inspiring the next generation to understand the opportunities right here in Oxfordshire.

Delivering support for our entrepreneurs

Atherton's business support story: Our OxLEP Business team is committed to delivering for our many entrepreneurs and those with great ideas, many of which are genuinely changing the way the world thinks.

Delivering meaningful engagement with cutting edge employers

Supporting a modern workforce: We have helped to broker industry placements for young people, a 45-day work placement that enables learners to develop real work skills whilst making a meaningful contribution to a business.
